I have been being treated by Margaret Scalia for about two months now and have had better results being under her care than I have with any other medical professional. I have had severe insomnia for a long time as well as fibromyalgia, which she has experience with both professionally and personally. She has helped me more in these two months than the sleep doctor I have been going to for 9 months. She is a wonderful provider and I highly recommend her to anyone that has fibromyalgia and is unsure of where to start getting care and treatment for it. UPDATE 9/25/25- I came across this review I posted a few years ago. Margaret Scalia is now located at Star Psychiatric at 7 Old Sherman Turnpike (ste 102) in Danbury. I still see Miss Margaret on regular basis and I always anticipate my sessions with her. She has this incredible knack for making me feel better. She continues to help guide me on my fibromyalgia journey, my chronic insomnia and other issues, and she does this with a caring attitude that is also very informative and inspirational. Dr. Satinover and his team at the Sterling institute have assisted me with my anxiety and hyper over complicated busy work and life struggles with grace and understand/helpful vigilance into a calmer version of the productive man required of me.
