Nancy Notaro
Nancy Notaro graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and continued on to complete her Master’s degree in Social Work, also from Adelphi University.
She is a licensed clinical social worker with over twenty years of experience in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and family service agencies. She works with individuals, couples, groups, and families, specializing in a client-centered problem solving approach to uncover and discover more adaptive skills to enhance overall quality of life and interpersonal relationships. Nancy has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.
Nancy specializes in the treatment of ADD/ADHD, anxiety and mood disorders, as well as grief and trauma, and relaxation techniques. More recently Nancy has continued her education to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the treatment of personality disorders and is training to become a certified hypnotherapist.
